1. Chief Internal Events Reported-
There were several notices of loans rumming to thousands of millions of Chinese National Dollars for the agricultural development in China.
The Shumchun border incident in which Cheung Tim-cheung was、 killed is still a political issue in Canton, and the "Chien Feng Jih Pao reported that Mr. T. W. Kwok was asked to attend the next meeting of the "Aid" Society.
The "Tai Kwong Pao" reported that the China Merchants S. N. Co. are now operating to Tientsin, Tsingtao, Shanghai and Swatow.
The "Sing Tao Jih Pao" said that proposals for improving the method of operation of the Vegetable Marketing Board had been submitted to Government through the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce.
Regarding the rape case in Peking the Hwa Shiang Pao" reported that an aid to Miss Shen Association had been formed among Hong Kong students.
The "Sing Tao Jih Pao" reported that the exports of textiles from Hong Kong are now permitted under permit.

Comments on Internal Events
The "Sing Tao Jih Pao" seriously advocated Government assistance to establish industries to absorb the unemployed, including those of Kwangtung and Kwangsi, thus co-operating with the Chinese Government. The same paper commenting on the removal of the ban on oxports of textiles said that it was taken as a friendly move on the part of the Hong Kong Goverment to enable export to South Seas.
