Unless you have already received a copy of the agreement in its final form we would suggest that these points be put to Hong Kong and that, in order to enable us to decide whether their proposals are reasonable or not, they should let us have the following

information:-

(a) Estimates of the value of stores used in the

maintenance of the plant.

A balance sheet of income and expenditure to date. The actual value of the proposed rent.

d) The pre-war generating capacities of the two

companies.

The pre-war annual outputs of the two companies. The anticipated output during the proposed period of rental.
