A yelling mob Chinese denouncing Imperialism,'
of 10,000 "British
who surrounded
the British Consulate in Shang- hai and tried to tear down the Union Jack, was broken up by Chinese police yesterday.
The demonstration was a pro- test at the British eviction of Chinese from Kowloon.
