qualification in the same constituency and otherwise to
make those lists complete and accurate as a register.

Where the registration officer makes any correction
in the lists otherwise than consequent upon a claim or
objection, or for the purpose of correcting a clerical error
or removing duplicate entries, he shall give notice to the
person affected by the correction, and give that person an
opportunity of objecting to the correction, and, if necessary,
of being heard with respect thereto.
Formation of Register.
19. The registration officer shall make all the
necessary corrections of the lists and do everything necessary
to form those lists into a register (with a separate letter or
combination of letters and a separate series of numbers for
each polling district) in time to allow the publication of the
lists so corrected as a register as required by these rules.
Duty to Publish and Deliver Copies of
the Register.
20.
It shall be the duty of the registration officer
to publish the register not later than the first day of March
in each year by publishing notice that a copy of the register
is open to inspection during business hours at his office or
such other place as may be mentioned in the notice and that
copies of the part of the register relating to any
constituency or polling district are open to inspection
during business hours at convenient places to which the public
have access mentioned in the notice.
The registration officer shall arrange for copies of
the register or parts of the register, as the case may be, to
be available for inspection at the respective places
mentioned in his notice.
It shall be the duty of the registration officer to
transmit a copy of the register and of every part thereof, as
soon as may be after it is published, to the Colonial Secretary.
