Forms of Mortgages and Transfers
PART I
Form of Mortgage
By virtue of the Hong Kong Municipal Council Ordinance,
and of other their powers in that behalf them enabling
the Hong Kong Municipal Council (hereinafter referred to as
"the Council") in consideration of the sum of
dollars (hereinafter referred to as "the principal sum") paid
to the Treasurer of the Council by
(hereinafter referred to as "the Mortgagee"), the receipt of
which sum is hereby acknowledged, hereby grant and assign unto
the Mortgagee (his) executors, administrators and assigns such
proportion of the revenue of the Council as the principal sum
bears or will bear to the whole sum which is or will be charged on
the said revenues. To Hold unto the Mortgages (his) executors,
administrators and assigns from the date of these presents until
the principal sum shall be fully paid and satisfied with interest
thereon at the rate of

and the Mortgagee and stated in an endorsement to be made hereon
under the hands of the Mortgagee and the clerk of the Council for
the time being and that upon any such endorsement being made the
