(Section 38)
Days and hours of meetings.
1. (1) The Council shall in every year hold an annual
meeting and at least three other meetings, which shall be as
near as may be at regular intervals, for the transaction of
general business.
(2) The annual meeting shall be held -
(a) in a year which is the year of election of
councillors, on the
day of
or such other day within fourteen days after

and the meeting shall be held at such hour as the Council may
fix, and if no hour is so fixed at twelve noon.
(3) The other meetings shall be held at such hour and on

next following as the Council at annual meeting decide, or by
standing order determine.
(4) Meetings of the Council shall be held at such place in
the Colony as the Council may direct.

(1) The Chairman of the Council may call a meeting
of the Council at any time.
(2) If the Chairman refuses to call a meeting of the Council
after a requisition for that purpose signed by five members of the
Council, has been presented to him, or if, without so refusing, the
Chairman does not call a meeting within seven days after such
requisition has been presented to him, any five members of the
Council, on that refusal or on the expiration of seven days, as
the case may be, may forthwith call a meeting of the Council.
