CONSTITUTION OF THE HONG KONG PORT TRUST
3. (1) (a) For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of
this Ordinance, there shall be constituted a Hong Kong Port
Trust which shall consist of ten commissioners appointed by
the Governor.
(b) of these commissioners so to be appointed, one
shall, in and by his commission, be appointed Chairman ef the
Fort Trust and shall preside over meetings of the
Commissioners.
(e) of the remaining nine commissioners se ta be
appointed, three shall be permanent government officials.

nominated by the Governor and shall be identified with such
interests concerned with the administration●f this Ordinance

to be appointed three shall be appointed by the Governor on

shall be appointed by the Governor on the nomination of the
Chinese Chamber of Commerce

(a) The remaining six commissioners so to be appointed
and nominated by the Governor shall be identified with such
interests concerned with the administration of this
Ordinance as he may think a dvisable, save only that not
less than two shall be of Chinese race.
Commissioners appointed under this paragraph are
in this Ordinance referred to as "Nominated commissioners".
