An Ordinance to amend the Merchant Shipping Ordinance,

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Merchant Ship- ping Amendment Ordinance, 1946.
2. The Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, amended as follows:-

the words "twenty five" and "one" are deleted and the words "one hundred" and "three" substituted therefor respectively.
the words "two hundred" and "five" are deleted and the words "five hundred" and "twenty five" substituted therefor respectively.
the full stop is deleted and after the word "allowed" the words "and to imprisonment for any term not exceeding six months" are added.
the word "fifty" is deleted and the words "two hundred" substituted therefor.
the words "two hundred and fifty" and "five" are deleted and the words "five hundred" and "twenty five" substituted therefor respectively.
