vacancies of Sub-Inspectora of Police in Hong Kong, Mr. W.J. Kyle has declined;
Mr. P.J. Scott accepted, was then offered transfer to Malaya as an Assistant Superintendent and finally declined both Malaya and Hong Kong. Messrs. A.B. Jeffries, R.J.W. Craig, R.T. Brooks, J. Murphy, G.E.F. Southey, M. Jones and A.C. Wherrie have been offered and have accepted appointments as Assistant Superintendents of Police in Malaya. The remaining 19 have acce ̧ted transfer to Hong Kong as Sub-Inspeetors of Police and Crown Agents are now arranging air passages.
