Pending an indication of your views on the matter generally, I forbear from comment on the details of the Report, save to add that in the event of the Colony being obliged to meet any part of these claims from its own resources, I see little prospect of payment being possible during the present financial year if a deficit on the year's workings is not to be incurred.
