An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to exhibitions, publications and advertisements of an indecent, obscene, revolting or offensive nature.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Indecent Exhibitions Short title. and Obscene Publications Consolidation Ordinance, 1949.
2. The Indecent Exhibitions Ordinance, 1918, is hereby Amendment amended by-
of sections 5 and 6(1)
(a) substituting in section 5 thereof the words "five of Ordinance thousand dollars or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding No. 3 of six months" for the words "two hundred and fifty dollars or imprisonment for any term not exceeding three months"; and
(b) substituting in sub-section (1) of section 6 thereof the
