with the influx of Chinese into Hong Kong since the end of the war, I should perhaps add that the trend now appears to be reversing. From available figures of persons entering and leaving the Colony by ship and rail it now seems that more are leaving than entering. This suggests that saturation point has been reached and persons unable to find a living in the Colony are drifting back to China.
