I aprove the promotion of ir. 4.A.Jones to be Registrar General and fr. 0.7. D'Almada e Castro to be Registrar, Supreme Court, Hong Kong with affect from the 1st April 1949.
With regard to the vacancy or Puiene Judge to which you recommended that ir, T.J.Gould should be promoted, it will be necessary to consider other officers of the Colonial Legal Service with lir. Gould and a further comamications will be sent to you as soon as possible.
