Trade Unions and Trade Disputes Ordinance Bill, which follows closely on the Kedol Ordinance as modified by your despatch urder reference, and which embodies certain provisious contained in Ceylon Trade Unions Ordinance 1935 and Arbitration Clauses modelled on those in Northern Rhodesia Trade Unions, Conciliation and Trade Disputes Bill published in 1942, has been approved for introduction into the Legislative Council,

Before the Bill is introduced, I shall be grateful if you will confirm, with date, that Northern Rhodesia Bill has been passed into low, as nefcrences to it are contained in table of comparison appended to Hong Kong Bill,
