Except in special circumstances, approved by the Director,
full-time Teacher or Head Teacher may undertake any external duties during
school hours.
In Kindergarten classes no more than 35 pupils shall be under the
instruction of one Teacher at any time, and în other classes no more than 40 pupils. As soon as possible these figures should be reduced to 25 and
30 respectively.
Fees shall be apid in advance. Principals shall notify the Director
of all fees and subscriptions charged in the school.
From time to time the Text-Book Committee appointed by the Education
Department shall issue lists of approved text-books. Prior refcrence should
be made to this Committee in any case where Principals may wish to use books
not on these lists.
In all schools adequate arrangements for medical inspection
(including eyes) shall be made.
