I understand that in the West African Colonies the following salary scales are in force:-
Sanitary Superintendent :2600: 600: 660 x 15 735 : 800 Senior Sanitary
Superintendents

I have no information regarding salary scales of Health Inspectors in other Far East Colonies, but if the following calculations are correct, it would appear that Health Inspectors in Hong Kong are probably in a less favourable position financially than officers holding similar appointments in the East, West and Central African Colonies:-
