Gentlemon,
I wa directed by Mr. Secretary Creech Jones to refer to my letter of the 2nd February regarding vacancies for radiographers in Hong Kong and to state that the following modified basic salary scales have been adopted for these porta:-
Radiographer, male: 640 a month for two years,
then 8680 a month rising to 1000 a month by annual increments of 40 a month
Radiographer, female: 8510 a month for two years,
then 8540 a month rising by 2 annual
increments of 830 a month and 5 annual increments of 840 a month to g800 a month.
These scales should be substituted for the ones given in the enclosure to my letter under reference. Candidates for these posts may also be informed that in most cases the deduction for rent in respect of quarters provided in likely to be le s than one seventh of basic sal ry.
