I send herewith a copy of the Hong Kong Salaries Commission Report together with a copy of the Appendices and a copy of the Governor's despatch forwarding the Report to us.
As you will see from pana. 23 of the Governor's despatch a decision on the recommendations is urgently required and we have already begun discussions with C.§.D. and the Treasury with a view to being able to givà the Governor's early approval in principle.
