Malayan Governments would prefer to retain the six
(173) platforms proposed in Governor General's telegram No.2 of
3rd January but, 1? uniformity with Hong Kong is considered essential, they prefer new platform of £252 on salaries between £1,300 and £1,400, Lowest actual salary to which this platform would apply is 930 per month, which is within the super scale range. £1,276 ( 910 per month) is merely a
($ point in the Administrative and Legal scales.
