I have cxamined the circular
carefully, and so far as I can scoe, the only snags that arise concern the points at which new entrants with war service credite or increments for experience should enter the revised scale. A similar question arises in the case of transferred officers. In both classes of case the point of entry into the new scale must be determined with reference to the point at which the Officer would have entered the old scle on 1st January, 1947, as follows: -
(a) New Entrants with War Service Credits or
Increments for Experience.
