At about 19.35 hrs. on 19/2/46 I was informed car 147
had been stolen. Car belonged to H.K. Hotel. Took the
usual Police action. About 20.20 hrs. same day I was
informed that motor car No.147 had been used by two
I to ok Chinese males in an armed robbery in Caine Rd. the usual Folice steps. At about 23.00 hrs.on same day
I was informed Car 147 hd been recovered and 1 Chinese
male arrested. I identify 1st deft. as the man arrested.
I saw him in the Charge Room. About same time Insp. McCahey handed me certain articles and moneys which he
informed me had been taken from person of lst deft.

2nd deft. to 12 Chancery Lane 2nd floor and the re I found 1 Remington automatic and 6 rounds of ammunition in a drawer. I identify this as Exh.A. At 11.00 hrs. on 20/2/46 I was present when 1st and 2nd complainants visited Central
