With reference to your letter No. 53687/46 of the 30th August on the subject of the Tai Lam Chung Water Scheme for Hong Kong, we have the honour to forward herewith for your information a copy 19.11-46. of a letter dated Noverber which we have addressed to the Government
of Hong Kong, together with three enclosures.
Messrs. Le Grand Sutcliff ad Gell will be instructed to arrange for the departure of the Geophysicist and Driller to Hong Kong, 28 soon as we are advised by the Hong Kong Government that the necessary drilling equipment, now on order by that Goverment, has arrived in Hong Kong.
