The effect of these recommendations results in certain amendments to the Appropriation for 1949-50 Ordinance, 1949 which are detailed in the attached Appendix.
If the Committee's recommendations are adopted their effect on the budget will be to increase revenue by $132,000 and expenditure by $337,342, thus reducing the surplus to $227,058.
