There has been a largo increase in the Temporary Staff Vote as it has proved necessary to reinforce the normal clorical staff of the department in order to provide for a more detailed audit of the accounts of temporary departments, such as the Supplies, Trade & Industry Department and the Custodian of Property Department, both of which handle very large sums of money. On the recommendation of the Director of Colonial Audit, additional clerical staff was provided for by Special Warrant during the present year.
