We shall be glad to learn whether you approve our meeting expenditure in connection with this apprentice's two-year course on the above basis from the interim grant. If contact is made with the two candidates of whom trace has been lost, and it becomes necessary to make provision for them, we shall submit a revised estimate in due course for your concurrence.
