It has been decided that with effect from personnel who are already registered to take their meals at the Hong Kong or Peninsula Hotel will be required to make the following payments for casual meals.

SALARIES NOT LESS THAN $250.

"A" Tickets.

"3" Ticket.

Residents at the Hong Kong, Gloucester and Peninsula Hotels on inclusive rates, will be issued with "A" Tickets, and no charge will be made for meals.

Service personnel entitled to rations only and ex-internees engaged in essential services will be issued with "3" tickets and will be charged as follows:

"C" Ticket.

"D" Ticket.

Unentitled Service personnel civilians who

were not interned, ex-internees not in essential service, and persons in transit will be issued with "C" tickets, and will be charged:

Persons employed in essential services other than ex internees will be issued with "D" tickets and will be charged as follows:

NOTES.

Tickets are not transferable and no representations regarding the class of ticket issued will be entertained unless it can be shown that an obvious error has been made.

2.

New registrations for meals at the Hong Kong or Feninsula Hotels will be entirely at the discretion of the British Military Administration.

3.

"D" Tickets will only be available for the Cafeteria at the Hong Kong Hotel. If holders of these tickets wish to eat in the dining room they will be charged at the rate for "C" tickets.

4.

Residents at the Peninsula Hotel on inclusive rates may take meals at the Hong Kong Hotel free of charge by arrangement with the management.
