IN VIRTUE OF POWERS vested in me, I, SIR MARK
AITCHISON YOUNG, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Camander-
in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents appoint you
provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be an
Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony
at Government House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this First day of May,
one thousand nine hundred and forty six.
