I have had a separate sub-file made for the Hong Kong Lands and Survey Policy Directive.
The Legal Adviser to the Unit has suggested the omission of the words in brackets in the annexed copy of the Lands and Survey Directive. I agree that it seems unnecessary and perhaps misleading to have such a clause on the receipt for rent and fees and the suggestion may be adopted .
It is not clear that this policy directive has been considered by the Finance and Development Department, one of whose subjects is Land policy. I, therefore, refer it to you for comments, if any.
