Dear..
At the twelfth meeting of the
Hong Kong University Advisory Committee
held on the 16th July, the eleven Members
present all accepted the drart Report sent
out on the 6th July subject to a number of
Subsequently
minor amendments that had been submitted.
A few of these were discussed by the
Committee but, for the rest, it was decided
that since they were textual changes
making for greater clarity or precision,
it should be left to the discretion of the
Secretary, in consultation with Mr. Cox and
Mr. Sloss, to incorporate them in the
Report. The letter, under cover of which
the Report will be submitted to the Secreto
of State for the Colonies, was therefore
singed in triplicate by all the Members
presentand enclose these three copies
order that your signature may be added.
As there are two other Members to
whom these letters must be sent I should
be most grateful for their early return.
As soon as the amendments have been
incorporated in the Report revised copies
will be sent to all Members.
Yours sincerely,
in
