There is now likely to be a delay of six or
eight weeks in the delivery of laboratory
Neiste equipment, and longer for microscopes. a

lecturer in Biology has not yet been found, and the appointment of a lecturer in Physics
is still doubtful. No notification of senio posts is thought proper either by myself or
the Advisory Committee until University's
future is defined. Laboratory equipment an
junior staff reasonably certain by December.
I recommend therefore, that re-opening be
deferred till January.
