In Sir Arthur Dawe's absence abroad, I have been asked to acknowledge the safe receipt of the gold trowel which you have so kindly handed to us for the University of Hong Kong.
In due course I will, if I may,
if I may, send you an account of the Ceremony at which the trowel is
resented. Our hope is that this will be on the bccasion of the re-opening of the University, when It would have particular significance.
