figure goes up from 3.86 to 5.24.
(2) Total of children attending government aided and subsidized schools iɛ
shown in 1921 as 8685: in 1922 at 16.174 and from that date on an irregular increase with a slump in 1923, to 25,500 in 1930 is shown. The reason for the remarkable increase in 1922 is nowhere apparrent.
