We spoke, and you pointed out that in iny memorandum I had allowed for the pre-war grant made by the Hong Kong Government to the University of £23,000 twice over both in calculating the University's existing income and in allowing what was still required I am very sorry for this mistake.
I attach herewith a summarized note of the proposed expenditure both capical and recurrent and of the proposals for meeting it.
