6. If we need any additional members, it has occurred to me that Mr. Burney, H.M.I., who visited Hong Kong on behalf of the A.C.E.C. in 1934 and on whose advice the University set up its matriculation examination, and who is still a member of the A.C.E.C., might be a valuable addition.

7. Professor Penson hopes to leave England at the beginning of December for three or four weeks in the Sudan, so if decisions can be taken in time for us to get the Committee together for a first meeting in the last week of this month, so much the better. Her views are well worth having.
