Dear Mr. Gent,
On Mr. John Keswick's advice I am sending a copy of a letter regarding Dr. Yang Tsuni that I have written to Colonel Ride at Hongkong. I should be grateful if you would bring this case to the notice of Mr. Sloss who I understand is now in London.
I have known Dr. Yang personally for over three years and am convinced that he would be a very great influence for the good in Anglo-Chinese relations apart from his first class academic qualifications.
Yours sincerely
