My dear Gent,
A meeting was held on 21st November of 200 graduates and past students of the Hong Kong University at which a reso- lution was passed recommending the re-establishment of the University in a re-organized and expanded form.
I attach herewith a copy of this resolution for the information of your University Committee in London, with particular reference to the fact that it reflects the feeling amongst graduates and students in Hong Kong that the University should be re-established in a more ambitious form than that of a University College.
