Comments on points in connection with the Adv. Gen's minute of 15 March. The names there mentioned were put up by Mr. Gent earlier.

I am sorry not to have sent this forward earlier. My own reactions are as follows:-

(a) I hope the Committee will be kept small. I suggest it should not exceed the number proposed, i.e. 8 or 9.

(b) I think it would strengthen the Committee greatly if Dr. Kauntze were included on it. The Medical School is to be an immediate and most important part of the reviving University activities, and Dr. Kauntze, with his deep interest in Higher Medical Education and his experience as Chairman of the Makerere College Council, should be able to be of great help.
