Mr. Cohen telephoned me this afternoon and asked whether he might have a letter, as herewith, which he might use if he found any difficulty in getting a seat in a military 'plane from India.to Iraq. He asked that the designation of the writer should be shown. Perhaps Mr. Gent would kindly sign it. It will also serve as an authority for Mr. Cohen to see Mr. Coleman on our behalf. I have asked Mr. Reid to ask the Foreign Office to send the telegram suggested, since it is he who has been in direct touch with them.
