N.B. Inspile

to estas pile of enquiries it has been im possible the Identity of the Sikh Constable who also accompanied the pany L.S.A179 Morrison was stationed at the hong kong Electric Vital Fost, North Point, and participated in

He had a some very heavy fighting. very trying time and showed himself to be calm and collected under heavy fire. He stuck to his post through- out. I consider he deserves some form of recognition."

"P.S. A214 Mawer, Officer in Charge, Bay View, did some very good work. He ran his district very well. De was at first practically on his own with a useless ussian sergeant and he carried out the evacuation of Bay

iew personnel from Dragon Terrace in a skilful manner. I have no practical knowledge of how he dealt with air raids. There were no food riots to my knowledge."
