to which the same relate, or, in the case of the
first payment due under an interim valuation, within
one month of the date from which the same became
payable, such rates (together with interest thereon
at the rate of eight per cent. per annum from the
day when they ought to have been paid until the day
of payment) may be recovered by action at the suit
of the Rating Authority in any court having
jurisdiction under the Military Courts (Civil
Jurisdiction) Proclamation, 194, and the provisions
of the Grown Remedies Ordinance, 1875, shall apply
to any such action, mutatis mutandis, the said
Ordinance being read as if the words "Rating
Authority" were substituted for the word "Treasurer"
throughout the same.
10. The powers conferred on the Assessor by
sections 4, 24, 41 and 42 of the Rating Ordinance,
1901, may be exercised by the Rating Authority and
for this purpose Forms Nos.1 and 2 in the Schedule
to the said Ordinance may be used, mutatis mutandis.

When an interim valuation is made of any
tenement rates shall be payable from the first day
of the month next following such valuation and shall
be paid within one month after that day and shall
thereafter continue to be payable quarterly.
12. The Rating Authority shall cause to be prepared
as soon as may be and from time to time as occasion
may in his opinion require, list or lists of the
several tenements in respect of which valuations are
made showing the respective valuations of such
tenements and shall cause such list or lists or
copies thereof to be open to inspection at the
Colonial Treasury or at such other place or places
as he may deem convenient for the public.
