Dr. Kauntze has said he would like 5 copies of Dr. Selwyn Clarke's report on medical and health conditions in Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation, for use in this Office. As I understand, he is at present away, may I therefore send them to you?

We are sending copies to the Governor under cover of a despatch (see draft opposite) and wish to tell him to what individuals or bodies in this country copies have been sent. To date I have sent 25 copies to the Colonial Advisory Medical Committee, 9 copies to the Colonial Medical Research Committee, 2 copies to Dr. Platt, and 5 copies herewith. Would you very kindly advise whether any further distribution should be made?

Would U.N.N.R.A. be interested?

Or the Ministry of Health?
