no difficulty at all about printing the required number of Papers and that it would take

a fortnight to three weeks. Perhaps you would very kindly say what number is usual for documents of this kind.

I think copies will probably be needed for the Governor of Hong Kong (? 30), the D.M.S. Hong Kong through the Governor (? 30), the Colonial Medical Advisory Committee and various quasi official and non-official health organisations.

Miss Ruston

If things were normal this Report should either be printed by the local Government or on their behalf through the Crown Agents.

Providing it is not desired to make it either "secret" or "confidential" the Report could be printed as an Office Super in the "Eastern" series and circulated to whoever the Head of the Department directs.

The most recent precedent is "Middle East No. 66 A Medical Survey of the Western Aden Protectorate by Dr. F.W.K.Petrie and Dr.k. S. Seal" but I am afraid I have no spare copy of this available for attachment as they have all been distributed.

There will be no objection on the part of the S.0. to printing the Report as this is already covered under a running demand.

It is usual in the case of Office Papers to have 30 copies for distribution, the reason being that they are invariably "Secret" or. "Confidential" and in consequence distribution is very limited. I have however consulted the S.O. about this keport and they are willing to let us have 125 copies which I understand will cover your needs.

Would you please give an indication of what you want put on the cover page?
