Please see my minute or the 8th March, which I am afraid has not reached you hitherto. I mentioned to you some time ago Dr. Selwyn-Clarke's report on Health conditions in Hong Kong during the Japanese' occupation which is registered at(1) on this file. Most unfortunately, as you will see from the draft or (3) the file was delayed in Copying section for a month and subsequently it has been mislaid.

Unfortunately no acknowledgement has been sent to (1)(5) or (6) It would perhaps be mollifying if we could
tell Dr. Selwyn-Clarke that his report was being published as a Colonial Orfice paper if you advise that course or or any other action on it that you may recommend. As you will see from(7) Dr. Selwyn-Clarke
asks if it is being printed. I have, therefore, ventured to include such a reference in the drart letter to Dr. Selwyn-Clarke opposite.

I agree that it should be printed if prasible. Consideration should be gren to question whether D: Macleod's & Dr. Dean Smith's reports should not be included in the same publication.
