Offences punishable
with imprison- ment or fine.
(i) wilfully destroys, damages or interferes with
transportation by land, water or air; or
(3) wilfully commits any damage to any property
whatsoever, cithor of a public or private nature; or
(k) incites any inhabitant to insurrection against
military authority, or organises or promotes any public demonstration or assembly for such
purpose; or
(1) without lawful authority signals by any device or in any manner whatsover, or without similar authority permits his land or buildings to be used for signalling; or
(m) in an area which has been subjected to attack,
steals any article from premises which have been damaged by warlike operations or vacated by reason thereof or in consequence of any authorised directions given for the purpose of meeting or hindering any actual or apprehended attack by the enemy or of protecting life or property from the dangers involved in any such attack; or
(n) in any area which has been subject to attack,
steals any article which has been left exposed or unprotected as a consequence of warlike operations; or
(o) in any arca which has been subjected to attack, enters any premises, damages any property, commits an assault, or is found with any offensive weapon or house-breaking instrument, with intent to commit any seizable offence; or
(p) does any act, or wilfully omits to do anything,
which act or omission is designed or likely to give assistance to the naval, military or air operations of the enemy or to impede such operations of the Forces or to endanger the safety of the Forces;
shall on conviction be punishable with death, or with such term of rigorous imprisonment or such fine or both such imprisonment and fine as the Court thinks fit.
4.
Any person who
(a) wilfully interferes with the operation of any
public service, including water supply, electric light and power, gas, sanitation or similar services, or wilfully destroys, damages or tampers with any installations of any such service; or
(b) without lawful authority enters or is found in
any place or area designated as a forbidden place or area by the posting of a sign or the presence of sentries; or
(c) steals any property of the Forces the aggregate
value of which exceeds one thousand dollars;
