Article 4
Revocation of inactments by Japanese uthoritics
All proclamationa, enactments, orders and the like issued or made by or with the sanction of any Japanese authority during the period of Japan se occupation are muraby suspended unless and until expressly revived by authority of the british Military Administration.
Article 5
Suspension of Courts
All Courts and Tribunals (except Courts Vartial helu by virtus of any statute) other than Courts and Tribunals established by authority of the British Military Aduinistration are hereby suspended and deprived of all jurisdiction until authorised by the British Military Administration to reopen.
Article 6
Oruers to be Gbeyed
11 persons shell obey promptly all Proclamation enactuents and orders issued or made by or under the authority of the British (1litary Acuinistration and must refrain from all mets which impede the forces unor my command from all acts of violence, and from any act likely to disturb public order in any way.
Article 7
Leleration
I hereby delegate to the senior Officer for the time being Commarding Britanic Majesty's Forces in Hong Kong all the owers, responsibilties and jurisdiction assumed by me in relation to the colony of Hong Kong and empower him to delegate the same or any part thereof to any officer under his command and to authorise further delegation.
Article 8
Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the British Military dministration Proclamation.
