The following statement made in B.B.C. news broadcast 1300 hrs. 6 Dec.
The Military Administration of Hong Kong ended this morning. Proclamation issued by Admiral Harcourt the C.-in-C. has handed over all his powers and responsibilities to the Chief Civil Affairs Officer.
