(2)
(a) The Governor in Council may at any time cause to be
made a survey and examination of any works of the
Port Trust or of the site thereof, and the cost of
such survey or examination shall be paid by the
Port Trust.
(b) If the Port Trust allows any work acquired or con-
structed by it to fall in disrepair, or do not complete
any work commenced by it or duly estimated for and
sanctioned and does not, after notice given by the Governor in writing, proceed effectually to repair
or complete such work, the Governor in Council may
cause such work to be restored, completed or
constructed and the cost thereby incurred shall be
paid by the Port Trust.
(a) The Chairman shall every year, at a special meeting, lay before the Port Commissioners an estimate of
revenue and expenditure for the year commencing on
the first day of April next ensuing, in such detail
and form as the Port Trust may, subject to the
approval of the Governor in Council from time to time,
direct.
(b) Such estimate shall be completed and a copy thereof

sent by post or otherwise to each member at least
seven clear days prior to the meeting before which
the estimate is to be laid.
(c) The Port Commissioners shall consider the estimate
and shall pass the same unaltered or subject to such
alterations as they may think fit.
(a) A copy of the estimate, as passed by the Port Trust,
shall be submitted to the Governor on or before a
date to be fixed by the Governor in Council and the
Governor in Council may approve or disallow such
estimate or any portion thereof, or return the same
for amendment.
