Governor in Council may from time to time inpose, it being the intent that until such time as the Governor in Council may appoint the Governor shall place at the disposal of the trustees all such lands, buildings, messuages or tenements and all such goods, chattels and other property as he shall de em necessary for furthering the work of the Trust and that the same shall not be sold or otherwise disposed of without the consent in writing of the Governor.

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance the Tru st shall discharge and exercise within the area of the Port those functions and powers which are given to it by or under the provisions of this Ordinance or any other enactment.

(2) The Trust shall within the aforesaid area exerci se control over:

(a)

The leasing or letting of piers and the construction of new piers as and when necessary and the charges therefor;

(b)

(c)

Mar ine notices to mariners;

Lights, buoys, moorings and other aids to na vigation and the imposition of fees, dues or charges there for;

(a) The marking and removal of wrecks and other obstructions;

(e) Ferries and the regulation there of and the imposition and colk cti of royalties, charges

or dues the re for;

(f) The making of surveys and soundings and the dredging and deepaning of the Harbour or other places within the area of the Port as may from time to time be required;

(g)

The licensing of Pilots and the imposition and recovery of pilotage dues;

(h) The regulation of traffic, ber thing and mooring and the loading and discharging of vessels within the area of the Port;

(1) The entry and clearance of ships and the inspection of International Convention Certificates;

(1) The numbe ring, licensing and registrati on of junks, launches, mot or boats, lighters, water boats and sampans;

(k) The storage of explosives, dangerous goods and firearms within the area of the port.
