shall respectively be rates, dues, fees, charges, moneys,

liquidated or unliquidated claims payable to or recoverable

by or on behalf of the Port Trust.

(a)all suits, 'actions and proceedings pending immediately before

the appointed day at the suit of or on behalf of the Crown,

the Financial Secretary or the Harbour Master, under or by

virtue of any of the said Ordinances, or any rules,

regulations or by-laws made under any such Ordinance, shall

respectively be suits, actions and proceedings pending at the

suit of or on behalf of the Port Trust.

(e)all contracts, agreements, and undertakings entered into with

and all securities lawfully given to or by the Crown, the

Financial Secretary the Harbour Master, or any person on

behalf of the Crown, the Financial Secretary, or the Harbour

Master, under or by virtue of any of the said Ordinances or

any rules, regulations or by-laws made under any such Ordinance

and in force immediately before the appointed day shall be

deemed to be contracts, agreements and undertakings entered

into with and securities given to or by the Port Trust or such

person on behalf of the Port Trust.

(f) the Port Trust may pursue the same romedies for the recovery

of any such rates, dues, fees, charges, moneys and claims, and

for the prosecution of any such suits, actions and proceedings

as the Crown, the Financial Secretary, the Harbour Master or

any person on behalf of the Crown, the Financial Secretary or

Harbour Master might have done if this Ordinance had not been

enacted.

(g) the Port Trust may enforce and realise any security or charge

existing immediately before the appointed day in favour of the

Crown, the Financial Secretary or the Harbour Master, or any

person on behalf of the Crown, the Financial Secretary or such

Harbour Master, in respect of any such rates, dues, fees, tim

charges, moneys and claims as if such security or charge were

existing in favour of the Port Trust.

(h)all debts due and all moneys payable by, and all claims

liquidated or unliquidated, recoverable against the Crown,
