(2) Commissioners appointed under paragraph (c) of
the preceding subsection are in this Ordinance
referred to as "nominated commissioners
5. (1) The Port Trust shall be a body corporate, with
perpetual succession and a common seal, and may sue
and be sued in their corporate name, and shall, for
the purposes and subject to the provisions of this
Ordinance, be capable of purchasing, holding, grantin
demising, disposing of or otherwise dealing with
real and personal property, and of doing and sufferin
all such acts and things as bodies corporate may by
law do and suffer.
(2) The corporate name of the Port Trust shall be
"The Hong Kong Port Trust".
(3) The common seal shall be kept in the cus to dy
of the Chairman and shall not be affixed to any
instrument axcept in pursuance of a resolution of
the Port Trust.
Any instrument executed in pursuance of any such resolution shall be attested by the signature of
any two commissioners.
6. (1) The first Chairman shall be appointed for such
period not exceeding five years as th Governor may
think desirable.
Subsequent appointments shall be
for a term not exceeding seven years as the Governor
myy think desirable.
(2) Official commissioners shall not be apponnted for a specific term.
(3) Of the six nominated commissi、 ners three shall be appointed for a term of five years and the
remaining three shall be appointed for a term of
three years.
(4) No person who is of or above the age of sixty years shall be appointed as a [gorinsted commissione
